The SOCA piece is inspired by SOCA music born in Trinidad and Tobago in the early nineteen seventies. The NVTIVE woman is vibrant in her SOCA waist beads.
All NVTIVE waist-beads are hand crafted in Accra,Ghana. Waist beads are traditionally worn in the Western Region of Africa, said to bring shape to a woman.
Beads are made with twist on & off tips for adjustable wear.
